With a fascinating and melodious voice, the 16-year-old Sam has impressed audiences in many occasions and is ambitious of a career in singing. A rigorous music training in both the western and the South Indian music has given her the unique ability to blend the best of both forms. She sings the pop, the rock and also the carnatic music!

Sam has been singing since she was a child. She has performed in many stages and occasions ever since.

Sam has proudly performed in the presence of VIPs including Mr.Abdul Kalaam (Former President of India), Mr.Mike Bloomberg (The Mayor of New York), Indian Ghatam Maestro T.H.Vinayakram (Grammy award winner) and Indian Music Maestro Ilayaraaja among others. Teaming with her mom Nivi (www.niveditashivraj.com), she has rendered exotic melodies for many music and dance productions.

Sam has performed as a soprano in New York City High School Chorus at the Carnigie Hall. She has also performed at prestigious places such as the Indian Consulate in New York, the City Hall and the Queens Library.

Sam is a senior at the Queens High School for Sciences at the York College.

As a teenage high schooler, Sam is a favorite among the young listeners. Her innovative melodies has a great appeal to listeners of all kinds. With numerous fans in the community, she enjoys singing in community programs, school events and other public concerts.
